Clinical Asst Professor, Transplant Surgery, Part-time

**Position Description:**

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Surgery is seeking a part-time transplant surgeon to help provide coverage in our new program, serving a large region of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico that has previously not had access to transplantation. Initially aimed at kidney transplants, this program will fill a huge unmet need in this region, provide an opportunity to build a regional center of excellence, and develop an enduring legacy in collaboration with the transplant nephrology team.

The successful candidate must be BE/BC in General Surgery with Fellowship training in Transplant Surgery. The candidate should have exemplary clinical skills, a team spirit, collegiality and an interest in teaching and/or scholarly activity.
