Performs information systems duties related to the day-to-day user support of assigned computer applications. Analyzes, diagnoses and resolves application problems. Performs regular system maintenance and performs system upgrades. Responsibilities Provides day-to-day user support to help desk and users with assigned computer applications; analyzes and diagnoses problems and provides resolution. Escalates issues to vendors or Health Informatics. Performs regular system maintenance, including but not limited to, dictionary table maintenance, duplicate record reporting, user security settings and configuration changes. Performs security administration duties such as monitoring the security of equipment and data and creating, documenting, adding, and deleting user access to assigned computer applications in accordance with established Fraser Health policies and procedures.
