Climate Adaptation Assistant

As a Climate Adaptation Assistant, you will help develop and renew the City of Thunder Bay’s Climate Adaptation Strategy, support community workshops, conduct research, create communications, and contribute to climate resilience initiatives for the community.

Accountabilities

• Support research, development, and communication for the renewal of the City of Thunder Bay Climate Adaptation Strategy.
• Assist with workshops, community and stakeholder engagement events by preparing documents, coordinating logistics, and recording meeting minutes.
• Input participant data and organize information collected during meetings.
• Respond to inquiries from participants, providing initial information and refer inquiries to appropriate staff within the department as required.
• Support the creation of communication materials for climate adaptation initiatives.
