Project Details

The Clerk of Works will oversee a varied portfolio of building construction projects, with the majority of work expected to be residential. This may include new build housing, apartment schemes, refurbishment works and mixed-use developments.

There is also likely to be involvement at times in commercial construction projects, healthcare buildings, university projects, school developments, and selected projects delivered for private-sector contractors. Sites will be located across Swindon and within practical travelling distance of Bracknell, Bristol, Bath, Oxford, Oxfordshire and the Midlands.

Responsibilities and Duties

This Clerk of Works job based from home in the Swindon area will involve regular regional travel (of up to 1 hour in any direction) to inspect construction quality and ensure compliance across the active building construction sites in the region.
