Position Overview
- Lead the civil/structural engineering discipline on major nuclear projects
- Serve as the primary civil/structural point of contact with OPG and key stakeholders
- Oversee preparation and review of structural calculations, foundation designs, steel and concrete detailing, and technical specifications
- Ensure all designs comply with Canadian nuclear regulatory standards and CNSC requirements
- Lead and mentor civil and structural engineers and designers, fostering a culture of rigor, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Challenge teams to deliver fit‑for‑purpose, fully compliant engineering solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and optimized project delivery
