**Overview**

Kimley-Horn's DT Los Angeles, CA office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Transit team! This is not a remote position.

**Responsibilities**

+ Collaborate with the design team to develop detailed and efficient roadway designs, ensuring compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
+ Contribute to the production and delivery of transit design projects, with a special emphasis on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects.
+ Assist in the development of project plans, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for roadway and transit infrastructure projects.
+ Select appropriate materials and prepare engineering specifications for road construction and maintenance projects.
