Position Overview
- Responsible for preparation of cost estimates for the preparation of price proposals for bids and variation orders.
- Provide technical guidance on assigned projects and plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering works and ensure compliance of applicable regulations, accepted technical / engineering practices and procedures are followed / applied in the preparation of project plans and proposals.
- Perform personnel functions by supervising and inspecting the performance of contractors and cadet engineers to ensure that all procedures are completed to the company set standards and client standards and ensure that work progress according to schedule.
- Work closely with the Project Manager / General Manager to schedule work and set priorities and act as the backup for calls when there are emergencies.
