Public Sector People are currently working with a local council to recruit an experienced Civil Engineer for an initial 4-month temporary contract assignment.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years' experience within Local Government, who has strong contract management experience overseeing the delivery of urban design, streetscape and public realm construction projects. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing contractors, ensuring project delivery outcomes are achieved.

This role would suit a hands-on engineer who is confident working across both design and construction phases, has excellent stakeholder management skills, and can hit the ground running in a fast-paced local government environment.
