JOB GOAL: The Child Nutrition Assistant is responsible for assisting in food preparation, serving, cashiering, and clean-up, using safe food practices.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Current Food Handler's Certificate
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in food preparation desired
- Experience handling money desired
- Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of HACCP and workplace safety requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work with figures and to make arithmetic calculations
