SUMMARYProvides needs evaluation and assessment for the specific purpose of determining eligibility for child care
financial assistance; supplies information and referral for other needed or requested services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be

1. Serves as agency intake/case management staff and determines the appropriateness of requests for
financial assistance with child care services.
2. Provides information on child care options; assists clients in arranging child care placement in the
program of the parent’s choice.
3. Educates and assists families in addressing child care issues.
4. Provides families with consumer information and resources available to enable them to achieve
self-sufficiency (i.e. tax information, community resources, housing, etc.).
