Position Overview
Summary The Nurse IV, Chief Nurse, Clinical Command Center (CCC), at San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) executes leadership that is characterized by substantial and continuous responsibility and accountability for population groups or integrated programs that cross services and/or discipline lines, and influence the organizational healthcare mission. Responsibilities General Description of Assigned Duties: The Nurse IV, Chief Nurse, CCC, executes leadership and direct supervision to the Program Analyst and Nurse Manager for the Collaborative Care Case Managers that includes Utilization Management/ Utilization Review/Case Management/Discharge Planning/Transfer Coordinator/Bed Control duties, Bed Management System (BMS) Coordinator.
