Responsibilities

• The Chemist will be primarily responsible for conducting experiments and analyzing substances in order to create new products or improve existing ones.
• Responsibilities include; developing new processes, optimizing existing processes, testing samples, designing experiments and recording data.
• The Chemist must ensure that all safety protocols are followed in the laboratory and that all lab facilities are kept clean, organized and stocked with necessary materials.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a degree/diploma in Chemistry or related field as well as experience working in an industrial setting.
• They should also have excellent problem solving skills, the ability to think critically, great attention to detail and strong communication skills (written/verbal).
