Certified Nurse Midwife, Per Diem

Saint Peter's University Hospital is looking to hire a per diem Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for its growing midwifery practices in New Brunswick and Lakewood, NJ.

This position is ideal for an enthusiastic candidate who is looking to participate in a team-based model and values a variety of responsibilities. Examples of typical responsibilities include:

• Caring for intrapartum patients at the free-standing Mary V. O'Shea Birth Center on campus and/or Labor and Delivery.
• Managing the care and giving direct client services for private birth center patients as well as a panel of midwifery patients at the Family Health Center in New Brunswick, NJ and Lakewood, NJ
• Being actively engaged in the hospital for triage and coverage of labor and delivery as needed.
• Providing education and expertise regarding meaningful positioning and physiologic birth.
