Position Overview
Position: Certified Medical Coders - Outpnt & ED ((phone number removed))
Location: Bronx, NY
Pay Rate: $38/hr
Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Requirements:
-High School Diploma/GED, AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCS.
-Three years experience Knowledge of ICD10
- Knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, federal billing guidelines
-Must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder)
-Must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application. Outpatient and ED experience.
-knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes
-Ability to research coding related issues
