Position Overview
Position: Certified Medical Coders Inpatient
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay Rate: $ 23/hr
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Requirements:
-Three years experience Knowledge of ICD10.
-Candidate must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder).
-knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, federal billing guidelines.
-knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes; ability to research coding related issues; competence in coder training.
-Must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application. Inpatient and ED experience.-Accepting both travel or Local candidate.
Education:
-High School Diploma/GED, AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCS.
-English( Speak, Read, Write
-Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
