Position Summary

We have a current vacancy for a Certification Officer to join the Certification team supporting Royal Canadian Navy programs. The role will manage certification activities associated with the Royal Canadian Navy Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPV), Joint Support Ship (JSS) class vessels managed under the AOPS & JSS In-Service Support (AJISS) contract, and Minor Warships and Auxiliary Vessels under the MWAV contract. You will be the main point of contact for Classification Society surveyors, support the Service Delivery team with planning and executing scheduled surveys and inspections, advise on certification requirements for corrective and planned maintenance, and act as the primary liaison for all certification‑related inquiries within DND departments, the Classification Society, and Thales departments.
