POSITION SUMMARY:

· Drivers are required to follow DOT regulations and drive legally at all times. It is the driver’s responsibility to notify the dispatcher as soon as they are aware that they may/will not be able to complete their work assignment legally. DOT compliance and providing dispatch with adequate notice of being “out of hours” is of the utmost importance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Make deliveries by appointment times scheduled;

· Re-stack and straighten skids when necessary;

· Call in all damages and shortages, before leaving account. If leaving any delivery location during non-office hours, leave message on Dispatch phone with any order discrepancies, detention time or other required information;

· Make sure the product loaded is correct on the bill of lading that is signed;
