Overview

Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions. Excludes Broadcast Technicians (27-4012).

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on specific applicable T/M/S aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems. Perform flight line essential services as directed to daily Flight Schedule. Routine lifting in excess of OSHA standards is required. Routine ordnance loading will require team lifts of ordnance items up to 167 pounds’ load share per team member, in accordance with standard USN procedures.
