Position Overview
Position: Cat Scan Tech
Location: Morristown, NJ
Pay Rate: $ 73/hr
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7 AM - 6 PM
Duties:
-The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence when performing the following tasks.
-Obtains necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols.
-Maintains sterility of field and instruments.
-Correctly prepares requisitions.
-Communicates to the patient and family before, during and after the procedure to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity of the patient.
-The technologist will adhere to all HIPAA regulations and respect the patients privacy.
-Verifies patient identification according to the AHS policy.
-Observes patient’s condition before and after contrast injections and reports any sudden change to the nursing staff and Radiologist.
