Our client, a prominent retail chain group headquartered in the Western Cape is recruiting for a Cashbook Clerk to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town.

This is a new role where you will be responsible for the accurate processing, reconciliation and administration of all cash book transactions, ensuring the integrity of financial records and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Capture and process all bank transactions accurately and timeously.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile cash, card and electronic payment transactions received from stores.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items, shortages, overages and bank discrepancies.
