Carpenter Foreman
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Carpenter Foreman that will provide oversight to project carpentry crews and coordinate, implement and supervise all self-performed work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure proper IWP is in place and understood by the crew; examine blueprints to determine structure dimensionsLay out floor plans and cabinetwork using tape, framing square, and calipersSelect and inspect materials and structural units (lumber, prefabricated doors, cabinets, paneling) for code complianceDetermine sequence of fabrication, assembly, and erection activities; assign tasks to workersInspect subcontractor work (ductwork, wiring, pipe installations) for specification conformanceInstall doors, build stairs, lay hardwood floors, and perform concrete and rough carpentry (hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, slabs, columns, drywall)Pe...
