About the role

Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents at Greensand House Care Home in Surrey. You will support residents in all aspects of their personal hygiene, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal hygiene while maintaining their independence and dignity.
• Recognising and monitoring clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infection, and escalating any identified risks promptly.
• Acting courteously toward residents and their visitors, respecting each individual's dignity and individuality.
• Practicing safe systems of work across all tasks.
