The Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Cardiovascular Medicine, is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our faculty as the Vice Chief of Research. The incoming Vice Chief will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the Section's research programs, with a focus on strengthening integration between clinical and research efforts. The ideal candidate will lead a translational research laboratory and play a key role in mentoring graduate students and postdoctoral trainees. They will help drive the Section's omics initiatives and lead the development of tissue banking across the Heart and Vascular Center. In addition, the Vice Chief will be expected to provide clinical care and actively contribute to the Section's medical education and training programs.
