Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or RNFA certified Nurse Practitioner to assume the role of Cardiac Surgery First Assistant (CVOR).
Highlights/Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of experience and be proficient in all aspects of first assisting for major cardiac surgical procedures, endoscopic and open vein harvesting, radial artery harvesting, and have experience with a high-volume CT surgery program Full-time, employed position 100% OR Work with an established team of Cardiac Surgeons and First Assist NP/PAs Hospital privileges State of the art heart hospital Ability to work with a nationally recognized cardiothoracic surgery program that performs more than 1,000 pump cases annually Large robotic program If NP, must hold RNFA certification Established NP and PA orientation programs Ap...
