JOB DESCRIPTION

Day-to-day A client of Insight Global is looking for a CAD Operator to support the tam in Dallastown, PA who will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed 3D models and technical drawings for mechanical systems—such as tactical shelters, racks, and panel assemblies—using CAD tools like NX, Inventor, or SolidWorks. They work closely with engineers to incorporate design requirements, support design reviews, and produce accurate, production-ready drawings while ensuring all designs align with project specifications and manufacturing needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must Haves

• 1 -3 years of experience in the CAD field

• 3D Modeling experience

• Being able to refine and modify designs for production needs

• Comes from a mechanical/sheet metal/defense industry

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Plusses

• Bachelors Degree in Designing or Engineering
