About the Role

Metalex is hiring Helpers to join our field erection crews across Alberta. You’ll work alongside experienced Journeymen and Crew Leads assembling self‑framing steel buildings, foam panel systems, and rigid frame structures for commercial, industrial, and energy clients. No ticket required. What we’re looking for is attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. We’ll build the rest.

What You’ll Do

• Work as part of an agile field erection crew assembling and installing complete steel building systems
• Safely transport, handle, and install materials: metal panels, framing components, insulation, doors, roll‑up doors, and trim
• Support Journeymen Iron Workers and Crew Leads in the accurate layout, assembly, and adjustment of structural components
• Follow all site safety protocols, including hazard identification, PPE use, and stop‑work authority
