Job Title: Box Department General Labor (Stonefruit)                                                    

Position:  Non-Supervisory

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Hours/week: Varies

 

Job Responsibilities:

+ Load fiber/cardboard into box formation machines. 

+ Add glue and/or other adhesives to machine.

+ Safely form boxes and stack boxes on box trolley.

+ Recycle old and broken boxes by placing them in the bailer for shipment to the recycler.


+ May operate equipm ent (when properly trained) to form boxes.

+ Set-up the box machine accurately and efficiently in accordance with the proper set-up procedures.

+ Examine completed boxes to detect defects and verify conformance to production and adjust machinery as necessary to correct problems.


+ Match box type and style to the production schedule.

+ Report hazards and injuries...
