Boatbuilder / Shipwright

Pay rate: $40 per hour – paid weekly

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and assemble wooden, fiberglass, or composite boats from the ground up
• Carry out hull repairs, restorations, and refits on a range of vessels
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Work with materials including timber, fiberglass, epoxy resins, and metals
• Install and maintain boat components
• Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years’ hands‑on experience working on boats
• Experience as a boatbuilder, shipwright, or similar trade background
• Confidence using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
