Biologist 1 (6-month Contract)

HDR is looking to hire a Biologist 1 on a 6‑month contract to support projects within our Environmental Science and Planning Group in Saskatchewan.

Reporting to local and regional environmental project managers, you will be involved in wildlife, vegetation, aquatics, and soils baseline programs and will also serve as an environmental monitor on linear construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in environmental baseline studies, assessments, reporting, and field work as required.
• Conduct environmental monitoring on linear projects throughout Saskatchewan and western Canada.
• Perform desktop reviews of scientific literature and existing data for technical reporting.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance related to environmental studies.
• Collaborate with HDR’s multidisciplinary teams.
