Project Specialist II (Building Products) Location:

Remote (Canada) — If located close to QAI’s offices (Toronto, ON or Burnaby, BC), the role would be in‑office.

Salary Range:

$65,000 to $80,000 annually.

Duties

Plan review drawings and documents relating to buildings to determine compliance with the relevant Building Codes and standards.

Become familiar with the Building Codes of Canada, National Plumbing Code, National Gas Code, and the Canadian Electrical Code.

Write concise, detailed, accurate, and objective reports.

Travel throughout Canada and the USA to perform inspections at manufacturing sites.

Perform testing, witness testing, prepare reports, or review reports to evaluate building products to nationally recognized building safety standards (CSA, UL, ASTM, etc.).
