Position Summary
The Department of American Culture and Society at the University of Alabama is searching to fill three fulltime renewable contract instructor positions with a start date of August of 2026.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must have a terminal degree, a JD, PhD, or MFA.

Successful applicants will have demonstrated teaching experience in courses in any of the disciplines within the Department.

ABD candidates will be considered but must have completed the requirements for the PhD prior to starting the position.

Preferred Qualifications
We are particularly interested in candidates with a terminal degree in one of the disciplines of the four programs in the Department.
