Responsibilities

• Work as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to patients with support and supervision provided by a registered health care professional.
• Undertake personal care activities and tasks as delegated by a registered healthcare professional, in accordance with the HEIW All Wales Guidelines for Delegation.
• Ensure the registered healthcare professional is regularly updated on the patient's/client's condition and improvement/deterioration.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the healthcare setting and appropriate storage of stock items.
• Deliver role in accordance with Health Board/Trust Values and the Code of Conduct for HCSW's in Wales.
• Undertake care as directed by the registered healthcare professional, following agreed care plans, providing information that will enable the monitoring and amendment of care plans.
