Audiology Assistant/Technician
Audiology Associates in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking to hire an Audiology Assistant/Technician to assist the audiologist. This is a full-time position, room to grow. Prior, Audiology/ENT or Medical Assistant experience a plus.
Hearing Aid Related Tasks:
• Verify the Audiologist has reviewed the hearing aid for programming; verifying patient's picking up hearing aids and if they need an appointment for fitting.
• Performs hearing aid orientation, including basic care and use of the hearing aid (insertion,
removal, adjusting volume, etc.)
• Demonstrates and sells Assistive Listening Devices (ALD's), batteries, and other special products.
• Receives and verifies hearing aids orders, including: verifies hearing aids are working correctly;
programs hearing aids to specifications in NOAH; enters serial numbers in CounselEAR; logs date of receipt into patient charts; completes purchase agreements...
