Under the direction of a Physician or Physical Therapist, the Athletic Trainer provides sports medicine services to patients/athletes with the goal to treat and prevent orthopedic and athletic injuries. Will provide Certified Athletic Trainer services to local athletes and sports teams during practices and events as well as in the clinic setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the treatment and monitoring of minor athletic injuries and conditions.

Collaborates in establishing athletic training and sports medicine services and plan of care; coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient/athlete care needs across the continuum.

Assesses patients to determine modifications of therapy and treatment needs in consultation with physician or physical therapist.
