Duties and Responsibilities

This is a part time position responsible for the coordination, supervision, evaluation, performance and day-to-day operations of the Cheer Team.

Organize and supervise all practices, games and campus events.

Oversee the recruitment, tryouts and medical clearance for all participants.

Manage Cheer Team budget, including ordering uniforms and necessary supplies.

Schedule practice time.

Supervise and direct the Cheer Team during men’s and women’s basketball games.

Plans team-building and morale-building activities for the team.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Bachelors degree in related field and one to three years previous coaching experience. Must have working knowledge of NCAA and Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations. Qualifications
