Summary This Assistant Hospital Housekeeping Officer position is located in the Environmental Management Service (EMS), and shares full staff responsibility with the Hospital Housekeeping Officer - and serves as an official to Senior Management and directs a complex program that significantly and directly affects the full range of facility and associated outpatient operations. Responsibilities Major Duties include but not limited to: Delegated substantially full authority to adopt policies issued by VA Central Office. Develops and implements organizational structures and operating plans and procedures. Interprets local and agency policies and communicates policies for EMS consistent with local personnel. Administers labor management agreements and meets and confers with Union officials. Fosters an Affirmative Action Program.
