Scope of Job
The Associate Vice President ( AVP ) for Safety and Security serves as the senior leader responsible for the strategic vision, operational oversight, and continuous improvement of the University’s comprehensive safety, security, and emergency preparedness programs. Provide executive leadership and administrative direction for the University Police Department, Emergency Management, Environmental Health & Safety ( EHS ), and Clery Act compliance.
