Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a facility management program, which includes but not limited to preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements of building facilities and engineering equipment.
- Conduct, monitor, document regular facilities & engineering equipment inspection and formulate recommendation including budget when necessary.
- Over-all supervision of the building maintenance.
- Participate in evaluating quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers related to building maintenance. Calculate and compare costs to maximize cost-effectiveness.
- Manage and develop Building Facility & Maintenance staff.
- Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.
- Ensures compliance to local and national building codes and other regulatory agencies concerning fire, mechanical, electrical, sanitary, occupancy and other related permits.
