Assistant Professor (tenure track) position in Industrial Management, especially in Industrial System Analytics. The position will be filled as a fixed-term position under the tenure track system and is located in the School of Technology and Innovations at the University of Vaasa.

Responsibilities

The role is research-oriented and includes teaching, thesis supervision, applying for external research funding, and university administrative tasks. The teaching and supervision activities support the programmes of Industrial Management, the Industrial Systems Analytics Programme and the doctoral programme.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in industrial engineering and management or a closely related field (e.g., management science). Proven research capabilities and high potential. Research focus within the broad area of technical and quantitative aspects of industrial engineering and management.
