Position Overview
Assistant Parts Manager – Acura of Langley
Responsibilities
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers and to exceed their expectations.
- Knowledge of automotive systems.
- Experience using CDK.
- Generate gross profit in the parts department through the sales of parts and accessories.
- Provide day‑to‑day support and coaching for parts staff.
- Assist in managing departmental expenses so a net profit is earned monthly.
- Maintain a consumer relations policy regarding wholesale customer follow‑up, material return, complaint handling, etc.
- Maintain programs designed to train, develop and motivate department employees.
- Maintain core handling, manufacturer returns, and damage claim procedures including storage, documentation, material returns, designated personnel, etc.
