PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £55,000 - £65,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

JOB PURPOSE

As an Assistant Editor for Curation, you'll be working as part of the team that manages the front pages of the BBC News website and app. You'll work with all parts of BBC News to ensure that our global audiences are served the best and most important stories from across the BBC.

This is a six-month fixed-term contract working a Friday to Monday weekend shift. You will be working 6 out of 8 full weekends.
