Job Summary
The Assistant Director Patient Access is responsible for assisting the Director with managing the staff and processes for Patient Access operations.

Daily assignments may include but are not limited to:
•Participate in supervisory responsibilities related to staffing, training, mentoring, coaching, performance management and evaluation, employee engagement initiatives, and disciplinary actions up to and including end of employment with UMC
• Develop, implement, and oversee customer service initiatives in the Patient Access Departments
• Develop and maintain source material to facilitate training sessions
• Assist in overseeing ECBO, Urgent Care, OPS, Heart Services, Lab and Authorization departments at all hospital locations.
