The Assistant Director of Commercial serving Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi supports the Director of Commercial in developing both long-term strategies and short-term tactics aimed at increasing the hotel’s RevPAR. This role relies on internal and external market intelligence to make informed decisions, optimize existing demand streams, and identify opportunities to generate additional demand, with the objective of achieving the budgeted Revenue Market Share Index.

The Assistant Director of Commercial will also analyze Spa and F&B performance to identify opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability. In addition, the role includes direct responsibility for training and managing the Reservations team, as well as deputizing for the Sales team when required.
