Position Overview
Job Description
- Conduct routine chemical tests according to standard operating procedures, including but not limited to sample weighing, and performing extraction/ digestion, column cleanup, rotary evaporation etc.
- Assist sample cutting and result reporting.
- Operate the analytical instruments (e.g. GC/MS, ICP-MS, HPLC etc).
- Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Record and maintain the test data in the required format accurately.
- Handle chemicals, solvents, acids, and reagents safety.
Qualifications
- Higher Diploma or above in Chemistry related subjects, e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Analytical Science.
- Familiar with ISO 17025 quality system and accreditation requirements will be a plus.
- Good communication skills;
- Able to operate the test instrument, e.g., GC/MS, HPLC, ICP-MS, will be an advantage.
