Assistant Accountant

Reporting to: Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Handling all cash and bank transactions, including passing entries in the accounting system.
• Managing all employee related matters, including payroll.
• Handling accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P), including IATA, GSA and other parties reconciliations, confirmations, payment and collection within due dates.
• Assisting Senior Accountant with timely preparation and submission of the company’s budget and cash flow monitoring.
• Periodical submission of financial reports and ad‑hoc reports, annual and quarterly MIS, along with interpretation of financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
• Co‑ordination with internal and external auditors, ensuring audits are completed within due dates by providing all required documents.
