**Job Title:** Assembly Operator

**Department:** Operations

**Responsible To:** Production Team Leader(s)

**Role Outline:**

To perform a wide variety of assembly, testing, packing or similar tasks in order to produce quality instruments for Fluke and/or it’s subsidiaries.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

1. To fully assemble, test, calibrate, inspect and pack a range of Instruments across multiple manufacturing cells as required by the business.
2. Responsible to adherence to defined processes in assigned work area, including but not limited to; Standard Work Instructions, 5S Standards, Safe Systems of Work or Engineering Drawings.
3. As appropriate, to train fellow operatives on defined processes as requested by the relevant Production Team Leader.
4. Take part in the _basic_ diagnosis and rework of Fluke product down to Assembly/Part level and escalate fault(s) to Technicians/Team Leaders as required.
