Job Summary:
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams including CT, MRI, X-Ray, and Mammography to capture detailed anatomical and pathological images for radiologist interpretation, following established protocols and safety standards.
Essential Functions:
Consistently deliver imaging exams that meet radiologist approval and adhere to accepted protocols. Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures by following manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices to minimize risks such as injury, electric shock, burns, radiation exposure, and interference with medical devices. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI and CT safety policies. Administer radiologic contrast agents and saline via IV as ordered. Accurately document and communicate exam details, including any complications or incomplete studies, within electronic health records. Position patients optimally to obtain necessary diagnostic images.
