Applications Engineer / Draughtsperson

Our client is a growing company based in Bedfordshire involved in the design and manufacture of materials handling systems.

Successful candidates will have a sound knowledge of engineering and will be conversant with CAD, preferably using the 3D Solid modelling system Solidworks, and hold a mechanical engineering qualification (minimum HND) with the ability to take outline designs and specifications through to manufacture.

Duties

• Liaise with clients to interpret their requirements
• Produce schematic diagrams on CAD system
• Issue bills of materials with drawing for manufacture
• Engineer custom built solutions to clients specific requirements and problems
