Job Description:

This position requires the clinical instructor to oversee student clinical treatment as well as assist and evaluate the student’s technical skills in assessment, dental hygiene diagnosis, care planning, instrumentation, evaluation of care and documentation. The instructor must be knowledgeable in current trends in dentistry and must provide high quality instruction. The instructor must have a demonstrated knowledge of and integration of appropriate practices of teaching to different learning styles. The instructor must demonstrate calibration in clinical and assessment skills. Manage a clinical section, including organizing and presenting material, demonstrating skills and activities that will facilitate student learning, and monitoring student behavior and performance.
