Opportunity:
Physician - Anesthesiology - Cardiac
Job Details:
* Provide cardiovascular anesthesiology coverage for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases
* TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) certification is required
* Cardiac anesthesiology fellowship preferred
* Assist with general OR cases in addition to cardiovascular cases as needed
* Unrestricted overnight call and weekend call required; Monday through Friday 8-10 hour days
* Adult and geriatric patients only; no pediatric care required
* Cases are hands-on with occasional CRNA supervision
* Facility handles approximately 360-450 cardiac cases per year with 2 cardiac surgeons on staff
* EMR system used is EPIC
* Board certification in cardiac anesthesiology and transesophageal echocardiography required
